Peace Education Dialogue Toolkit: Dialogue for Youth, By Youth (and Adults)

National Peace Academy partner, the Global Campaign for Peace Education (GCPE) recently released a vital new resource: Peace Education Dialogue Toolkit: Dialogue for Youth, By Youth (and Adults). The toolkit was authored by the GCPE Youth Advocacy & Research Team.

This dynamic toolkit is designed to empower young people and their adult allies to engage in meaningful, transformative dialogue about peace, justice, and sustainable futures. Co-created by youth advocates from around the world, the publication reflects the voices, needs, and visions of a new generation of peacebuilders.

The toolkit provides practical guidance, interactive tools, and adaptable dialogue models that educators, youth organizations, and community leaders can use to spark intergenerational conversations and action. It is rooted in the belief that dialogue is a vital pathway to mutual understanding, collective learning, and peaceful change.

“This resource is more than a guide,” says the Youth Advocacy & Research Team. “It’s a living example of what can happen when youth are not just included but are leading the conversation on peace education.”

Peace Education Dialogue Toolkit: Dialogue for Youth, By Youth (and Adults) is now available for free download.

  1. Thank you for creating this youth-led toolkit. I used it in a workshop with high school students and the dialogue models sparked meaningful conversations about justice and inclusion.
